Go Team!

These were year end gifts for a little T-Ball team :)

So... didn't have a cutter that I was happy with. They were all too small. So I hand cut them. 16 of them. I am happy with how they turned out. But honestly, I am going to buy a cutter real soon!

Quinceañera

So my first "real order" was for 100 of these zebra stripe cookies. How 'bout that for cookie boot camp?

What is Cuter?

Onsie's or Bears?
These were for my Sister-in-Law's Baby Shower. Funny how things work out... I wasn't really happy with how the bears turned out, yet they were the most "talked" about. Go figure!
These pink flower cookies were a tutorial I found on Sweetopia. She really does some lovey work there! And the onesies were inspired by some work I found on a google search- but I forgot who it was. So if by chance you are looking at this... please don't hate me. I just took a screen shot on my phone and haven't been able to find the link.

Super Dad!

I made these in honor of my "Comic Book Loving Super" husband for Father's Day. I had alot of fun with these.  I made a stencil of the "S" crest and the "DAD", then cut them by hand. It sounds tedious but was pretty easy. But then again I wasn't making 3 dozen!

My Little Boy Turns 2!

Since I had so much fun with the Easter Cookies, I thought I would try my hands at some cookie favors for my son's 2nd Birthday as well as a his name for the cake. Overall I think they were a hit. Really, who can turn down a cookie?!

And it all started with...

... a few little bunnies and chicks. Last spring I decided to try my hand at decorating my mother's awesome sugar cookie recipe. After searching the web for ideas and finding such INSPIRING sites, which I will mention later, I tried my first ever decorated cookie! I loved it and I guess you can say, that is when the obsession began.
These all were done with a simple powdered sugar icing recipe. It was a little hard to control. Since then I have tried a royal icing version and LOVE it! And here I am. Enjoy!
